For The collaboration between Lens Kühleitner (Lan Rex) and Manu Mayr began in spring 2022. From an initial meeting, a shared vision for a new joint project quickly emerged.
In their work, the two musicians deal with the hyperreality and artificiality of sounds. They draw on the rich potential of their diverse musical roots and skillfully move from ethereal clearness to sophisticated sound collages. TEARING irresistibly pulls the listener into an immersive space, takes them by the hand and inevitably releases them back into silence.
